TBRI Training #4: Correcting Principles

Our final installment of TBRI training for the year focuses on the  Correcting Principles focus on teaching and mentoring through connection, not fear, using the IDEAL response: Immediate, Direct, Efficient, Action-based (Redos), and Leveled at the behavior, not the child, all while staying calm and looking for the underlying need to build self-regulation and trust, not shame. Sign up when you can and invite others though they need to be at the other trainings as well in order for this one to matter. Cost is $10 to help us provide food and materials. 

This training is really for anyone and everyone: parents, teachers, educators, people in child welfare, business leaders, radical kids workers, student volunteers, church leaders, church members, and anyone else. No matter your history, your current circumstances, or experiences, you will walk away with some incredible information and strategies that will only help you and others moving forward.
